More will be added as soon as I remember them. XD When searching for a word, click CTRL and F at the same time and enter the word you're searching for. If a word you don't know is not listed, please post and I'll add it here.

WORDS:

  • Crew ship = A ship unlocked by an officer for crew use. Any officer can use it as long as they restock.
  • MAA = Man at Arms. The officer in charge of defenders in Atlantis.
  • PTB = Permission to Board.
  • XO = Executive Officer. The 2nd officer on a ship.

    (The red star sign indicates that there is no need to type the command as it appears on the chat menu.)
    COMMANDS:
  • /away (or /afk) = Leave an away message!
  • /back = When setting off your /afk
  • /blackspot = I can't give a better explanation.
  • /bug = When you find a bug. (As in, a technical problem, not an insect.)
  • /clear = When your chat screen is full, this command is very handy.
  • /complain = Used when reporting a pirate. Be sure to report IMMEDIATELY or the needed evidence will be gone!
    * /crew = Talk in crew chat.
  • /cwho = Useful when searching for crews. You have to type the EXACT crew name!
    * /dnd = When turning you do-not-disturb on/off.
    * /emote (or /me) = The emote command.
  • /fbroadcast (or /fb) = If you're a monarch or a royalty in a flag, you can broadcast to your flaggies using this command.
  • /fofficer (or /fo) = If you're ranked officer or higher in a crew, you can chat with your flaggies by using this command.
  • /fwho = When searching for flags, you have to type the EXACT flag name!
    * /game = Talk in game chat.
  • /help (or just /) = Shows you a list of all the commands.
    * /house = Talk in house chat.
  • /info = Shows the date and game time.
  • /invite = Invite someone to a house or a building you have rights on!
    * /jcrew = If you're jobbing with another crew.
  • /job = When jobbing someone for your crew. (You have to be officer+ and with badge to use it.)
  • /mute = When a player is spamming you.
  • /officer (or /o) = If you're ranked officer or higher in a crew, you can talk to other officers by using this command.
  • /pay = Send someone some PoE!
  • /plank = Useful when a pirate in your pillage is misbehaving. Is also good for plank wars
  • /print = When taking screenshots.
  • /royalty = If you're a monarch or a royalty in a flag, you can chat with other royalties if you use this command.
  • /shout = Shout. (It is bad behavior when you shout on someone else's ship, unless you're an officer.) You cannot shout in an inn, even if you use it with crew chat.
    * /speak (or /say) = Say somethin!
    * /tell = Talk to someone privately.
  • /tip = Send someone a doubloon!
  • /unmute = Unmute someone.
    * /vessel = Talk in vessel chat.
  • /vwho = When searching for ships, you have to type the EXACT ship name!
  • /who (or /w) = Useful when searching for a certain pirate, their location and current activity.

    A couple more:

    /w = shows how many ppl on the ocean, and on the individual vessels and islands in the archipelago you are in.

    /fw = shows who is online from your own flag.

    /duty = turn on/off the greeterstatus.

    /greeter = the greeter channel for contact to other greeters on duty.

    The first two ones are already added. Although the description is different. XD

    I didn't add the greeter commands since I don't want people to abuse the greeter system. (e.g. Being a greeter just for the sake of having a pink name, go on duty even if they know nothing about the game.)

    biggrin

    The two first: I just wanted to show difference between using the commands with or without argument.

    The greeter commands can be used and misused, and so can the other commands, as blackspot and complain. The only difference is, that you can't use the greeter command before you are experienced player, I think it is something with 6 month and min. 200 hours puzzling. tongue
